At the US Soccer Annual General Meetings

It’s been an interesting time here at the US Soccer AGM. I’ve gotten a lot of great information, and gotten to know a few people as well. Working on a big summary of the event, which will hopefully be up here by Monday at the latest.

As you can also tell by the last story, I was able to take in a couple of Sounders games. Fair to say the Portland result (loss notwithstanding) was promising; Dallas less so. Talking to Coach Schmetzer and the team after the Dallas result, it seemed like lethargy and the end of a long preseason came into play, as well as the time of the game and a game Dallas side. That said, the Sounders did get what they wanted out of the camp (fitness, etc..) so we’ll see how they look once they get back to Seattle.

More later.
