I had a busy week churning out the soccer content, so here are some recent stories/podcasts that I’ve put out over the last couple of days.
A big move in the Mike Petke lawsuit against RSL, as the team is moving to dismiss the case and send it to arbitration, where the arbitrator would be…MLS Commissioner Don Garber.
I spoke with Soctakes.com’s Nipun Chopra about life in lower division soccer. Things can be rough outside MLS, and the USL is finding that out the hard way with a couple of teams at risk of disappearing.
It’s playoff match day. The Sounders are as healthy as they’ve been all year, with only Will Bruin out with his long-term injury. Should be a fun playoff season!
Big stuff going down in Inter Miami, as the City looks set to torpedo their plans to build a stadium at the Melreese golf course. The story isn’t over yet, as there is a big hearing on October 24. Stay tuned.
